About Train to Gain

Train to Gain is a comprehensive service from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to help businesses get the training they need to succeed in the ever changing economic climate. With more competition from overseas and higher standards of skills and knowledge in demand you cannot afford to be left behind.

The Train to Gain service is designed to help you improve you're organisation’s productivity and competitiveness by making sure you’re your employees have the right skills to do the best job.

Fully funded Train to Gain services at level 2 are available through Positive Outcomes, to assist with the training and development of your existing employees.  We offer you the experience of commercially aware trainers, our proven successful delivery models, and one to one mentoring and coaching.

All the training can be integrated into your employees’ normal work routines and can be delivered in the workplace.  Usually there is no day release or extended external training required.

Our unique initial assessment and progress record enables us to agree a learning plan that is structured around skill and knowledge requirements of the individual’s job role.  Once on the service we undertake regular assessments and reviews to keep you up to date with their progress.

In order to enrol on a Train to Gain service there are certain criteria that need to be met, and our Business Development Unit will be happy to discuss these with you.

We can also offer subsidised award winning Level 3 or Level 4 Management development services as part of the Train to Gain service.
