WORK BASED LEARNING AWARDS 2008 - Positive Outcomes Learner Success!!!
East Midlands Conference Centre - January 2009

January 2009 saw the annual Work Based Learning Graduation and Award ceromonies hosted at the East Midlands Confrence Centre in Nottingham featuring Olympic medallist Sam Hynd as key note speaker. The day began with the graduation of 23 Positive Outcomes learners who achieved their Advanced Apprenticeship in 2008.

The evening awards started with celebrity guest "Clive Gott" keeping everyone entertained and amused. This was followed by the main award ceremonies. Positive Outcomes were pleased to have 2 finalists in both the advanced apprecticeships category and 2 finalists in the Train to Gain category. As the awards came to a close, winners were announced as follows;

Overall Awards Winner: Mr Paul Boulton (Barnados Charity Shop)

The overall winner was presented with a cheque for £1000 we all at Positive Outcomes agreed was well deserved.
Positive Outcomes are also proud and would like to congratulate our 2 other finalists: Charlotte Massey (Pontiac Coil Ltd) and Lisa Kominiak (Nottigham Training Network)

All learners nominated for awards will be put through to the regional finals later this year, so watch this space for more good news!!
